Research Experience

Research Interests

Prof. Tan has conducted systematic basic research on the application of important glycosaminoglycan in the field of biomedicine. The glycosylation system of proteins and peptides was established in vitro. This technique can effectively overcome the shortcomings of poor stability and short half-life of proteins and peptides. Simultaneously, the obtained glycopeptide conjugate can be used as the delivery carrier of small molecule chemotherapy drugs, which has the characteristics of targeting, low toxicity, high efficiency and synergism.

Current research interests include:

1. Chemical modification of proteins and peptides.

2. Research on anti-tumor drugs delivery systems.

3. Research on carbohydrate drugs.

4. Research and development of medical and health products.
