NMPA Key Laboratory for Quality Research and Evaluation of Carbohydrate-Based Medicine was approved and established in February 2021. It was jointly built by Shandong University, Shandong Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Shandong Institute for Food and Drug Control. The key laboratory will study the key technologies, difficulties, and bottlenecks involved in the quality control of carbohydrate-based drugs in the critical technologies of chemical drugs to promote the development of carbohydrate-based drugs in China.
